
Suzanne Brown
Director/Case Manager
Sue started her career in case management in 2004. She is experienced in the management of severe and catastrophic injuries including brain injury, orthopaedic injuries, amputation and mental health/psychological trauma in both children and adults.
Sue helped to set up the first Headway group in Wigan & Leigh and continues to be a major force in driving this forward. Sue enjoys dedicating time to survivors of brain injury in her local community.
Sue has been a member of BABICM for more than five years, serving on the BABCIM Council since 2018; contributing to the development of the case management sector as a whole, now and in the future. Sue has taken up the position of the Chair of the Training and Events Group (TEG) a subgroup of BABCIM; prompting the ongoing training and development of case managers across the UK.
In her previous role as a Director/ Registered Manager, Sue is the only leader in the UK to achieve Outstanding in her first CQC inspection with particular emphasis on a well led, case management organisation. She was instrumental in her organisations pursuit of an Investors In People Silver Award, which will remain in place until 2020
